Crafternoon @ Green Man Festival 19th-21st August 2011

Crafternoon had a fabulous time, as I write this I am wearing my Green Man t-shirt and plotting how to get there next year.  We were in the Future Gen field and thanks to Emily’s fabulous organising skills we had a smooth 3 days of monster making.  A total of 55 monsters were born at Green Man 2011!

Day 1 Fri – Carter and I set up at 10am in the sun and we were soon busy with eager kids wanting to make monsters. The creativity displayed never fails to amaze me and we loved seeing everyone getting so involved.

Day 2 Sat – The threat of rain made sure that Kaz, Carter & I were there on the dot of 10am to start in the CREATE tent, the rain brought out the dads & younger festival goers and again monster making went down a storm.

Day 3 Sun – Coffee chased away our hangovers and we got on the monster making straight away. Harry came and made a 2nd monster and then decorated our Green Man and Kaz seemed to enjoy himself more than the kids…

Hen’s do it too! Crafternoon 6th August 2011

Saturday 6th August saw a host of hen’s making some of the most creative monsters Crafternoon has had the pleasure in helping to create yet!

The afternoon began around one with the girls meeting for a drink at The Marksman pub, Hackney Road.  Once all arrived everyone had a quick tutorial and soon were fully absorbed in their own monster-making activities.
The afternoon was made complete with a yummy meal and of course, a monster themed photo-shoot.  Take a look at our Facebook gallery
Crafternoon thinks the chief hen, Chloe, should be particularly proud of her Monster creation. Great craftiness!
